Inspired by my first "Growing" piece, here is what I wrote about it:

Change is inevitable. The unknown can be uncomfortable. This painting portrays the state of transitioning into something new. Sometimes we have to wait, be patient, and see what grows even when we aren’t quite sure what will be blooming next.
